About the Role

Structural Engineers are responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the safety and stability of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. They assess the strength and durability of materials, develop structural frameworks, and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.

Requirements

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.

    • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering or related projects.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).

    • Strong understanding of building materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and composites.

    • Ability to conduct stress tests, load analysis, and simulations for structural integrity.

    • Knowledge of seismic design principles and wind load considerations.

    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license required or ability to obtain within a set timeframe.

    • Familiarity with building codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC).

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

    • Ability to travel to construction sites and work in challenging environments.
