About the Role
Quality Control Inspectors ensure that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. They are responsible for inspecting, testing, and reporting on production activities to ensure that only high-quality products are delivered to customers.
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in quality control, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related role.
Skills:
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Strong understanding of quality control procedures, standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and industry best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
Strong communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with production teams.
Basic mathematical and technical skills for measurements and calculations.
Other Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Knowledge of statistical quality control methods and software is a plus.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift inspection equipment or materials.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required.
