About the Role
Logistics Coordinators are responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials. They coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations and maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, APICS, or Six Sigma) is a plus.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS platforms).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve operational challenges.
Effective communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to inspect warehouses or shipments as required.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if needed to address urgent logistics issues.
